Bit of a hidden gem. The place has that old school feel inside, but the food is top tier. The sushi of the day deal and lunch deal are both great value, and the portions are generous. Honestly some of the best sushi I’ve had for the price. Can’t believe this place isn’t busier.

I'm from a student society and we ordered platters to cater for an event we were hosting. We ordered 8 large platters to feed 40 people and the staff at Lala sushi were really helpful with ordering and considering dietary requirements. The order was ready perfectly on time and the staff were so lovely and helped us carry it to the car. The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented!

****Highly Recommended*****(weekdays & weekends) This amazing little place is run by team of 2 expert Japanese men who understand what they are serving and they serve choicest and fresh ingredients everyday. I have had the pleasure of eating there multiple times and even back to back three days in a row too and I was so happy find out that they do not add MSG in their food as compared to some commercial restaurants who do add MSG (in Japanese curries) strange but true. Speaking of food, highly recommend to try their lunch specials, which is rice bowls and you would be delighted to enjoy the most tender beef and chicken katsu with lovely curry. Rice is always piping hot and complements the food. Their is bang for buck and really class as compared to many other sushi establishment. They run special of the day sushi which is surprisingly $2.80 and to my surprise it does stands out in terms of taste.You but 3 sushi and they give you their own made miso soup a serve for free and it's really worth a sip. They also have fresh squeezed fruit juice which is so good to wash away the food. Their service is friendly and natural and you would be welcomed with a smile as soon as you walk in, absolute basics of customer service, sometimes missing in some hospitality outlets. ありがとうございます

Pretty decent sushi with a home made vibe. Support local. The guy and owner seems friendly but a bit misunderstood, I asked if he had any fresh tuna available and said no with no other explanation. I come back in an hour and he had some go figure. Could have just said he was making them or if he was inclined offer to make a roll fresh for me but maybe that's pushing it. Only tried the rolls and they have daily price special.
